72 F-100 "F1K" SEMA Build
Congratulations to John Jinnings and his 1972 Ford F100 which received the 2019 SEMA Top 10 Trucks - Street Trucks Magazine, Ford Design Award and Cars of SEMA 2019 Foose pick. This truck has a long list of additional accolades as well. SPI Epoxy Primer, 2k Primer and Universal Clear were used.
Introducing 3100 Series Speed Clear
Southern Polyurethanes now has a Speed Clear. Designed for 1-4 panel coating, bake or air dry. If baked, Speed Clear can be assembled and buffed after the panel has cooled down. Click for product page.
2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Best in Class & Best of Show!
1924 Isotta Franschini owned by Jim Patterson and Restored by RM Auto Restoration. This car won Best in Class & Best of Show at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The car also features Southern Polyurethanes (SPI) Universal Clearcoat.
Label and Logo Changes
As of August 2019 we are a little more than 4 months into our Rebranding process. The new logos and Speed Clear label design are the result of this. All of our product labels will be changing, with the 2.1 VOC clears and activators being first in line. The products themselves have not changed at all! The website will see a redesign toward the end of the year or beginning of 2020.
